Cher was always close to my heart. Sonny and Cher once drank beer in my taverns parking lot back in the 60s. Now I think of her as nothing.

When Chastity first revealed her mental illness to Cher, she shunned her. In an interview, Cher discussed her dismay and disapproval of Chastity's sexual preference and subsequent decision to alter her identity. She has now done a 180° change and supports ‘Chaz’ completely. IMHO, her actions are dictated by the guilt of her hypocrisy; she turned her back on her daughter while she profited for years by pandering to the gay community after the mainstream audience abandoned her. I'm guessing it must have pointed out to her since she's obviously too thick to figure it out on her own. In any case, she would have been a better mother had she not nurtured her daughter's mental illness.
