While we all recognize at this late date that the political system is unlikely to put the brakes on the decline of America, even so, from time to time, someone comes along that gives us a little hope. DeMint, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and a few others in the Senate...
But Cruz is the real deal. He could be a real game changer.
He is just as conservative as all of these good guys. But he is truly brilliant, and tremendously credentialed. And from Texas, he will be a high profile national leader immediately. In that regard, not unlike Rubio. But...Cruz is even smarter than Rubio (and Rubio is great).
Finally...a smart, aggressive, deeply committed conservative who can communicate, from a massive powerful growing State.
Cruz needs to win this. We often say there are no more Reagans out there and that is of course true. But Cruz is getting close, with his own spin of course. If he wins...watch out!
