A top Democrat who was intimately involved in the rancorous 2000 presidential recount in Florida is raising an almost diabolically complex prospect: what if the Obama-Romney contest inspires recounts in multiple states?
Former presidential chief of staff William Daley disclosed in an interview that hes broached the subject to the Obama reelection campaign, given the closeness of polling in several key states and his experience as thenvice president Al Gores campaign chairman in 2000.
His message is simple: be well prepared for such an eventuality, regardless of its unprecedented nature.
....
The historic Florida recount and eventual U.S. Supreme Court decision remain obvious sore points for Democratic partisans. And, in looking back, Daley concedes a few organizational missteps by the Gore camp in Florida, most notably not having a legal and media team on board more quickly.
....
In his mind, what one needs to battle a recount is different than traditional campaign and Election Day needs, even when those are already overseen by sophisticated practitioners. That means procuring the very best lawyers with an intricate understanding of state election laws one can find in a state and involving them in the actual campaign organization.

Oh, and if I'm wrong, and you come to FL again, expect the same "hospitality."

If the dims try the crap they are talking about there will be war!
If there is a recount and it ends up in the Supreme Court, we can guess which side they’ll land on. With Roberts writing the majority oppinion.
The real question is, have the ‘RATS printed up their “contingency” ballots yet?
Remember Hugh Hewitt’s book; “If It’s Not Close, They Can’t Cheat”
Vote.
Think Raila Odinga and Kenya.
Think Raila Odinga and Kenya.
However, turnout will help. So would a GOP that gave a rat's ass about fraud, which they really don't for reasons which are beyond me.
Daley and Ed Rendell, with Donna Brazile are the most diabolically organized vote stealers in the land. They are not sitting this one out. The Sanchez Scam .... i.e., the creation of virtual clans of voters is well underway. They will be mobilizing the Black Panthers, they will be counting on the inner city blacks to vote at twice their weight, at least. The Latino motor voters will be motoring from precinct to precinct, and every college town in the nation will emulate Madison, WI, with 119% turnout.
?These people can steal a hot stove. And they have Soros' money to help in any mount needed. Wake up, GOP!
Boy, Dems just can’t get over the fact that their machine broke down in FL and they lost.
The “recount” and lawsuits, and back and forth between the SCOTUS and the FL one always clearly showed the libs were throwing anything against the wall to see if it stuck.
It couldn’t. They no longer controlled the “media”. It wasn’t a 5-4 decision by SCOTUS (that was remedy), it was a 9-0 decision telling FL “what the F*** do you think you’re doing?”
I see Romney winning by 10-15 points in November.
There will be explicit threats of race riots by blacks during any recount. And unless it is met with a counter threat it will succeed.
Blacks are 11% of the population (could be 15-18%, but 1/4 of all blacks conceived since 1973 have been aborted), while whites are 70%. I don’t think the numbers favor them.
Recounts gave them Senator Franken, even after they didn't initially stuff the ballot boxes with enough ballots from dead voters. I imagine they are lining up more dead voters for the big one this November, and more experts on creative recounting to "fix" things if their initial fraud falls short. I just hope our side recognizes that we are facing pure evil. We want to fight by Queensberry rules, as if both sides were gentlemen. The other side has seen Butch Cassidy: "Rules? In a knife fight?"
Is that when we see martial law ?
Or will thay wait to see if they lose the election before we see troops on the streets ?
