The Republicans have always needed a Teflon(R) candidate, and Romney is almost the living likeness of Ward Cleaver. The Democrats will find some tiny detail and harp away at it. They are good at that. George Bush was called stupid and because he never fought back, the label managed to stick. Today, Bush can’t argue the point, it is now a given, in the minds of most Americans, thanks to the Democrat Media.
They did the same to Sarah Palin. One liberal friend said Sarah Paln was as dumb as dirt. I told him he better not talk about her that way if we were to remain friends. But somehow they try to paint the narrative that the conservative is stupid and the liberal is sooooo smart. The Romney Gaffes story that was tried in the leadup to the Olympics didn’t work that well, but rest assured, that is the most likely place to make the mud stick, if they can’t find somewhere else. Selective editing of tape can make anybody look stupid, and the liberals own all of the tape.
