Walker: Ryan pick part of a 'cheesehead revolution'

Gov. Scott Walker gave vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan a resounding endorsement today and joked it's another sign of a "cheesehead revolution."

"If there was a Paul Ryan fan club, I'd be president," Walker said the morning after he learned Mitt Romney picked Ryan as his running mate.

Walker indicated he knew Ryan would be the nominee last night. Walker told reporters in Wauwatosa that he and Ryan "texted back and forth" last night and that as Walker said his nightly prayers last evening, "at the top of my list was Paul Ryan and his family."

Walker also said he spoke to Ryan on the phone this morning. "I also talked to Reince Priebus ... an extremely proud cheesehead," said Walker. Priebus, the Republican National Committee chairman, is the former chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin.

Walker noted that they both were elected to their first office at a young age: Ryan to Congress at 28; Walker to the state Legislature at 25. He said they also shared a common early work experience. Both of them had worked at McDonald's restaurants as teens, but Walker said Ryan had been told at the time by his manager that he "didn't have the interpersonal skills to work the front cash register."

Yeh Baby, "The Cheesehead Revolution" There are a lot of up-an-comer conservatives in the pipe yet. I believe Wisconsin has a lot to offer for years to come. I like to thing my daughter will be one of them!

Q: Do you think Barry's team will find that restaurant manager and make a tv commercial?

Ryan will need those prayers, he is about to get hit with a chit storm from the Democrats who will attack everything he ever did from grade school to today, while they ignore any facts presented about their would be Dick tator.

In the meantime, Obama, Biden, and the rest of the Democrats are part of the Dickhead Revolution.

I live in Northwest Illinois. One evening a couple of years ago we were coming home from an evening church service. As we drove along my eye caught what appeared to be a moving light. It traveled along for a period of time, then it sort of made a whirling motion and exploded! The light was so intense it lit up the sky in three states. The fireball exploded over Wisconsin.

I believe that sometimes the Lord puts signs in the sky as a harbinger of things to come. Governor Scott Walker may have it right, Ryan may be part of a Cheesehead Revolution!

Fine with me as long as I don’t have to like the Packers.

That McDonald’s manager must have been related to M Jordan’s high school basketball coach when he “cut” Michael from the team his freshmen year! YEP, real INSIGHTFUL men....just like our polling data.

It does look like California has ceded its leadership role to Wisconsin.
