"The Journal poll found that 53 percent of likely voters surveyed back boosting eligibility to allow low-income children, seniors, pregnant women and the disabled sign up for the federal-state health insurance program."

KEYWORDS:
This is an indication that at least 53% of the New Mexico voting population will vote for the Democrats and for Obama. In essence they are buying votes. And it could very well be that Obama will win 65% to 35% based upon this number plus another 10% who did not participate and will vote straight ticket.

Don’t bet the rent on that.

‘Winds of Change’ are blowing, being gently wafted by the smoke of burning embassies and a dead, sodomized ambassador, and with gasoline bouncing around at $4.00 a gallon, 0bama better empty the treasury if he thinks he’s going to actually buy his re-election.

Oh wait, he already did that with a multi-million dollar negative ad campaign against Romney & Ryan, and it ain’t workin’.

Use all the fuzzy math you want. How could anyone have a WORSE record than 0bama? Is FAILURE the new norm? Even after the network AMBUSH of Romney during the debates, Romney will be victorious this election.

IOW: The freeloaders are going to send the America destroyer back the the White House to make sure they can get government freebies and handouts.

I liked this country better when only Americans lived here.

I’ve said for years that anyone sucking on the public teat should lose their right to vote until off of the dole.

Anyone getting assistance from the government, period.

Can’t speak about NM. However 3 recent polls Carville/Greenberg, CNN and CBS/NY Times had Obozo losing by double digits with Independent voters if that is the case Romney will win by 6-7% nationally.

PS all these polls show an enthusiasm gap favoring republicans.

For so-called "Seniors," then, the question comes down to:

Is my health care more important than my great-grandchildren's freedom?

"Freedom is the most valuable of all human possessions, next after life itself. It is more valuable, in a manner, than even health. No human agency can secure health; but good laws, justly administered, can and do secure freedom. Freedom, indeed, is almost the only thing that law can secure. Law cannot secure equality, nor can it secure prosperity. In the direction of equality, all that law can do is to secure fair play, which is equality of rights but is not equality of conditions. In the direction of prosperity, all that law can do is to keep the road open. That is the Quintessence of Individualism, and it may fairly challenge comparison with that Quintessence of Socialism we have been discussing. Socialism, disguise it how we may, is the negation of Freedom. That it is so, and that it is also a scheme not capable of producing even material comfort in exchange for the abnegations of Freedom, I think the foregoing considerations amply prove." Of course Obama will “Win” in November.

Can anyone ever cite a Marxist regime ever leaving office and relinquishing power after the results of an election?

Are we this stupid to think November is not rigged and compromised already??

Why do you folks think the narrative coming out of the MSM is that Obama is going to “win”??

Did we forget how things turned out when the narrative from Obama and the MSM was that Romney was the biggest threat to an Obama reelection back early last year?

You folks better be thinking waaay past November. It is a fact that Marxists never let go of power. They always engineer their permanent rule. Heck, I read that Clint Eastwood may have even said something about that.

Cook County has gone national. Obama’s demeanor is one that, quite frankly - reveals to me that he is aware of how he’s going to be able to stay in power. And that MSM lackeys are helping to construct the illusion that Obama has already won November.

We’re dealing with a Marxist here. Not a run-of-the mill liberal American Democrat. Those are all over at the GOP now.

Anyone getting assistance from the government, period.

How broadly do you want to define that?

First, the easy ones:
Welfare
WIC
Foodstamps
SCHIP
Medicaid

Now, what do we do with ...
Social Security
Medicare

Those who have received or have not fully paid back student loans?
Those who get agricultural subsidies?
Those who bought cars or home improvements that get an energy rebate (not simply a tax credit, which I assume does not fall under your definition).
Earned-Income-Credit?
Those whose time on Unemployment Comp. easily exceeds what could have possibly been kicked in?

By the time we are done, they may be few people left.

I have to believe and I hope it is true.....that there are still many millions of people who might be on some of these programs now....who would still prefer a decent job in the private sector....and will vote accordingly.

I will continue with my observation. The breaking news column to the right of the message headers on FR has this:

"NBC releases new oversampled Democrat polls: Ohio D+10, Virginia D+5 Florida D+2"

Now granted they are oversampled Democrat polls, but the general public doesn't care about that. All they see is Ohio, Virginia, and Florida are going to vote for Zero.

Don't get me wrong, I hate this administration and have hated it since Slick Willy was raping women. I could not stomach Tip O'Neil. I will not vote for a Democrat. But the MSM has the lead in all of this and the Republicans are not fighting it. They are all preaching to the choir and not to the congregation. Maybe they should take a hint from the muzzies and start protesting, everywhere and all the time. At least then they would be reported on at the level of the general population and not as rich people who don't care about the poor. They would also do better than the Occupy because they would organize it better.

Exactly. I’ve said that for years. Only net taxpayers should be allowed to vote. That would eliminate all government workers as they are not taxpayers. Factor in public-screwl benefits as well. If you paid $3,000 in taxes and have even one kid in public screwl, you don’t get to vote, as your government benefits exceed your taxes paid.

Don’t forget public-screwl benefits. Multiply every kid you have in public screwl by whatever the per pupil amount is. If it exceeds taxes paid, you don’t get to vote.

Obama is going to pull out all the stops trying to buy this election. It’s his only shot really. The biggest danger will be when he proposes forgiving student loans. I know some rather conservative people who’d vote for him in a heartbeat if it would make a five-figure debt disappear.

I missed that one, but also have mixed feelings on it. Problem is, if you send your kids to the public school only in order to avoid going to jail, I am not sure if that is being on the dole in the ordinary sense. For the record, we home school. I do know that precious little documentation is needed in Rockford, IL to qualify for free breakfast, lunch, etc. which ARE being on the dole. In Chicago, they are doling out breakfast and lunch for kids even when they have no classes due to the strike.

Well, I don’t believe Obama will win.

The dems play this old game of padding the polling data.

During the 2000 election, they used 12-14% more dems .. and then couldn’t believe Bush won.

So stupid they believed their own FAKE polling.

In 2004, they used 16-18% more dems - and were aghast that Bush won again.

Yesterday or today, Rasmussen put out the latest numbers - and Romney is ahead by 5% - and Rasmussen is the only person who consistently uses likely voters - and he also uses the proper proportions of dems and repubs.

As far as I’m concerned .. Obama is already done. I say that, because the media is out there saying Romney is DONE in 3 of the key battle ground states, however, the numbers have been skewed (as usual).

If you understand “projection” and how it works .. you would understand why I’m so sure Romney will win.

I saw a couple polls just a few days ago that showed Romney closing the gap in NM. I never thought that New Mexico would be in play. I thought it was solid blue, off the table state.

New Mexico is now a swing state! Actually they did elect a “R” governor so maybe I shouldn’t be so surprised.

Romney winning won’t be Marxists relinquishing power. They’ll just be slacking off a bit.

We’ll be trading a communist for the former governor of the “Bluest” state in the Union. Thus, both parties march leftward.
