Well the problem is that their pride lead them into a false sense of security. No one NO ONE on their side saw this coming. Because of that, they are still reeling from the hit, there is no way to re position yourself from such a hit this late in the race. After the Ryan Biden debate, I will bet most people will not watch the 2nd debate, just wait for the highlights. They made up their minds, they saw for themselves what they all suspected. Clint Eastwoods chair metaphor was prophetic.

Clint Eastwood was more correct than anyone guessed. Once the history of this campaign is in the books, the ‘empty chair’ routine will be a seen as a seminal moment if not a forshadowing of things to come.

And we are told that when Obama left the stage that night, he was feeling good. That’s terrifying.

Aides heard Obama talking to himself later that evening: "I'm an excellent driver, an excellent driver. Pop let me drive slow on the driveway every Saturday. Pop let me drive slow on the driveway. But not on Monday, definitely not on Monday."

The media is going to take a big hit coming out of this as well. They don’t realize that yet, but the media has sown the wind and now they’re going to reap the whirlwind for doing so.

When Obama loses, Democrats will be casting about for anyone or anything to blame but themselves and their flawed ideology.

A very convenient target of that blame will be the media. The charge will be that the media did not do their due diligence in vetting Obama pre-2008. If they had done their job, it would have been clear to all that Obama was not experienced enough to be president, and that he had past associations with very sketchy people. If all this was exposed to voters, Hillary would have won the primary and gone on to win the election.

Republicans should stress that it was the ideology, but give some lip service to the media malpractice angle.

That’s just gross. That’s taking “I love you man!” to far.

Clint Eastwood was more correct than anyone guessed.

He's got a movie out, Trouble With the Curve. I saw it last night with the wife. Good, not great, but good.

I'd suggest everybody reading this go out and support him.
