Voting For Obama Keeps Families Away From Each Other For Thanksgiving
WNEW-FM / The Associated Press ^ | November 21, 2012

Ah, Thanksgiving. A little turkey, some cranberry mold, maybe apple pie with ice cream, some football on TV. Getting together with the cousins. Catching up beside the fire. Togetherness.

On second thought: Scratch that. What were we thinking? This was an election year.

“The Thanksgiving table will be a battleground,” says Andrew Marshall, 34, of Quincy, Mass...

I’ve unfriended a friend that I’ve known since 1972 when I was 6 over this.

The cookin Cajun loved his show, and had a lot of his jokes. Twice Barrel Carbine.

It was cool how he could measure a tsp of salt in has hand then put in a measuring spoon to prove it.

I live in his stompin’ grounds. When I first moved here 21 years ago I spent most of a year in the mountains coming down only twice. Tomorrow I am spending the day up there as well. Geronimo could have lived the rest of his days a free man, but alone, in these mountains.

Back to the article; since when is cranberry “mold” part of Thanksgiving dinner?

I was intrigued by the Apache and Commanche tactics of sending out flaggers to draw pursuit, staying just out of range as the contest wound up a draw or a canyon or arroyo finally into an ambush.

Water is the secret in your country.

That is the truth, but it has all been drying up these past years.

Same in our family where the young people voted for Obama. Typical liberals, we received some very nasty emails. They can’t discuss the facts but have to spew out hatred. Then they look forward to “seeing us”???? I don’t think so. My wife and I had enough and we have shifted not only our holiday plans but vacation plans. We would rather spend our time where we know we are genuinely wanted than with people who support illegals, drug use, homosexuality, abortion, higher taxes, etc.

The sad thing is most of these people are unskilled labor. They will be the first to be hurt by Obama’s policies. I told my wife that by Christmas 2013 most of them will find themselves as part time workers and having to pay for their health care insurance. Already it has started with a number of companies annoucing reductions and closings. This is only the beginning and they don’t have a clue as to what they voted for.

We didn’t even try this year LOL. We’re scattered to the four winds. My generation in my family are all libs. There’s hope for a few of the kids.

Going to a friend’s house, but unforuntately she invited one lib. How could she do that? Now we can’t talk about what’s on all of our minds.

Oh well, invitees can’t be choosers.

Read this online. Hope it helps.............

As a public service to our readers, and as a gesture towards civility in our national discourse, we offer the following how-to-guide for surviving Thanksgiving dinner at the home of your triumphant liberal relatives:
.....................

Arrival. “Your home looks lovely. Almost like it’s worth what you paid for it. Obama didn’t help with that yet, did he? Oh, well, maybe next term. May I use your bathroom?”

In the unlikely event that your host’s home has appreciated in value, use this introduction instead: “Love what you’ve done with it. Better dump it before the new year, though, or you might face that new Obamacare tax.” (Wait until after dinner to make a lowball offer.)

Greetings. “Oh, grandma, I’m so sorry about what Obama did to your Medicare. I tried to stop him.”

“Little Johnny, all grown up. Still looking for a job? Oh. There’s always grad school, you know. I hear Obama will pay your student loans.”

“Jane, you look amazing! I bet you’re the reason Obama promised free contraception.”

“Hey, kids, let’s watch some football. Whatever team Obama picked, that’s the one that’s going to lose. Ask Detroit.”

Grace. “I’m thankful that the war on women is finally over, and you accepted a racist like me back into your midst.”

“I’m thankful for Elizabeth Warren. Now that we have a Native American in the Senate, we can celebrate without feeling guilty anymore.”

“I’d like to take a moment to remember those four brave Americans who lost their lives because of an anti-Islamic video.”

“Blessed be Obama, from whom we enjoy this bountiful harvest.”

Meal. “No turkey for me, thanks. The poultry industry is a major contributor to global warming, and I can’t eat meat without thinking about how I caused Hurricane Sandy.”

“I’m not having cranberry sauce, either. So many of our cranberries today are imported from Poland, and they supported Mitt Romney, you know.”

“Have some more pumpkin pie, please. I promise not to tell Michelle Obama.”

“What, no more Twinkies this year?”

Departure. “I can’t believe it’s time to go already. Four hours and $600 million in national debt just flew by.”

“Gan en jie kuai le! That’s Happy Thanksgiving in Chinese. Might as well start learning.”

“Why don’t you come to our place next year. Seeing as how your taxes are going up in a few weeks, it’s only fair.”

“Sorry I parked you in. Oh, darn, I drove the Chevy Volt today. You wouldn’t have an extension cord, would you?”

Saw on another thread that the Marxist POTUS is going full bore on confiscating IRA’s & 401K’s. That will the Ft. Sumpter event for CW2.

This American won’t break bread with commies, pinkos, Marxists or socialists. They have always been the enemies of democracy

I have two libs coming over today, one is my spoiled cousin who graduated in 2010 with a degree in history, and now she's studying to be a massage therapist and doesn't pay her mom rent or work a job. The other lib coming over is my other cousin who's going to law school and just conveniently came out of the closet two weeks ago after we sent out invitations.

Suffice to say my day is going to be interesting and will be the last one with the liberals on my side of the family. Next year they can have a gay old time with each other somewhere else. Texas is looking pretty damn good right now to my parents and my family.

You need two tables set up for the Thanksgiving Meal
One for the Liberals and one for the Adults.

We will be down in Ohio sitting with my two sister in laws, both extremely devout Catholics, who voted for Obama. The one, has a father in a law, ex FBI is a Republican. His other daughter and her husabnd are secret service agents for Obama. One is Republican and One is Democrat.

When I asked my extremely Catholic sister in law how she could vote for Obama knowing his abortion stance, she said, well Republicans are for capital punishment and that is wrongfull murders in many cases.

So there you have it folks. She is more concerned about adults being wronglly killed then protecting a fetus/baby in the womb who has no say whatsoever.

Ask her how she feels about that Cleveland bishop who said that a vote for Obama is renouncing Jesus (b/c of abortion).
