And so it begins: Sarah Palin suggested she would run for the U.S. Senate seat in Alaska, and 72 hours later has fired the first volley against her potential opponent, one Sen. Mark Begich a Democrat, former Anchorage mayor and spirited Palin-basher. Hes already questioned whether the former governor was even a resident of Alaska, then dismissed her as a viable candidate. Naturally, Mrs. Palin was charmed by the challenge, immediately deeming Mr. Begich the Alaska chameleon for his political track record.
You have voted for Obamacare, for massive tax increases, for carbon taxes which could cost Alaskans 21,000 jobs, against pro-life legislation, and theres so much more. You even flip-flopped to oppose the nations balanced budget amendment. You agree with, and vote with, ultra-liberal Senators Chuck Schumer and Harry Reid approximately 90 percent of the time, Mrs. Palin said in an open letter to Mr. Begich.
In the meantime, we suppose well see much more playing of the ol Washington political game using those inside D.C. reporters each time you have to distract from yet another bad vote for Alaska in the U.S. Senate. It cheers us up and gives us good opportunity to remind Alaskans just how loyal to the Obama agenda you have been, she concluded....

Her actual words were that she “considered it.” Past tense.
It did not sound to me like she was currently entertaining the thought.
Not to mention the EPA's stranglehold on building new refineries and expanding existing ones.
And not only stopping all the roadblocks to deep water drilling (in the gulf and other ocean locations, such as between FL and Cuba, where the Chinese are planning to drill half way between Cuba and the USA,) but also re energizing all the oil pumping stations just off shore, such as off of Santa Barbara, CA, etc.
I've seen those, they are beautiful.
One day I was having breakfast in an ocean side restaurant in SB (outside patio, 10 ft. from the sand) and gazing lovingly at the pumps in the distance.
I asked a local guy what they were (which I knew) and he told me.
l mentioned to him how beautiful they were, and it was too bad they aren't pumping oil.
His jaw dropped, LOL!
Is there any indication that she could do 6 years of commuter parenting and marriage? This may not be the right time of life for this.
Obviously, she’s running. Begich is toast, he turned into a DC retread.
Is Sarah absent on George Zimmerman, or have I just missed it? I have googled Palin on Zimmerman
Is it a political calculation to stay out of it?
I am disappointed that she has apparently not fired off some comments defending George
Thank You, and I love Sarah! I have never ever said I was disappointed in Sarah, just said I was disappointed
She still I believe has kept out of this recently, perhaps it`s a political decision
I read all/most of her major statements, missed that one, but I dont hear her making any other noise, I guess there is a down side politically in so doing?
I just think she wants to take the path Levin tried to take and she did call out Obama for doing getting involved. So if she gets involved in it now it would be a little hypocritical. There are too many other issues to be worrying about than what is happening with Zimmerman.
Obama and Holder are trying to distract people with the Zimmerman case. Palin isn’t falling for that.
Absolutely am aware of that from last year, just she apparently never felt the need to make comments recently.
I love her, was just saying I wish she had something to say now...
No upside for her right now to mention apparently, whatever
I think she will win it!
