I find it amusing how the idea of liberty is, to a statist, "a very dangerous thought" that makes them nervous.
This statist could end up with the GOP nomination.
Every day, I find 1-2 reasons why I'm done with the GOP.

This statist could end up with the GOP nomination. This is true.
Every day, I find 1-2 reasons why I'm done with the GOP.
Romney's nomination was the thing that got me. It illustrated exactly what they've become:
- The national-convention's rule changes
- The retroactive rule-changes to strip Ron Paul of delegates (in favor of Romney) during the primaries
- The "teleprompter incident" wherein the rules were declared passed even before the voice-vote was finished
- The nomination of Mr. "Of course I'm for abortions in the case of incest or rape"… even as they added "No exceptions, not even rape or incest" to the party-plank
- The complete lack of pushing for repeal of GCA or NFA
- The complete lack of pushing for fiscal responsibility
- The complete lack of pursuing justice in Fast & Furious, an operation which was by definition state-sponsored terrorism (and treason)
