I’m sure the collectivist, Establishment Pubbies said the same thing about Reagan, too.

The GOP will not be happy until ObamaCARE does for
America what RomneyCARE did for Massachusetts.

Fewer docs, much longer waits, more illegals,
and much higher rates.

Well, there you go.
Apparently, the house Republicans do not realize Cruz is in the senate.

Another line has been drawn. This time there are 20 million voters standing on it daring Congress to approve a budget with obamacare in its funding.

Many GOP lawmakers share that frustration privately and several have gone so far as to call their party “leaderless.”

Well, they got that right but for the wrong reason.

“Here we are complaining about a president who can’t lead [on Syria], who leads us into this morass and we’re doing the same things to ourselves on ObamaCare, on the debt ceiling,” one conservative complained.

Why am I thinking this is no "conservative"?

That balances out the rest of the country. Decent Americans are irritated that Cruz can’t get Boehner to shut up and sit down.

The mantra I like is, "If you fund it, you own it."
Every stinking congresscritter needs to hear those words, over and over and over again.

Awww, sorry guys, we’ve been infiltrating the party since the Gingrich revolution and that’s just accelerated with the Tea Party, and we aren’t stopping till we take over. Sorry if you don’t think that’s fair but you had your shot and ya blew it.

Ah, the truth finally expounded! Cruz should be the Speaker instead of Boehner! Have had it up to my ears with this pansy group of Republicans led by the liberal Boehner!

Decent Americans are disgusted with Boehner and wish that Cruz was the Speaker!

All of us elected our house reps. and senators to do a job. That job did not include taking orders from some Republican in the House or Senate. It appears when someone is elected, no matter what they stood for during their election process, they go to Washington and have to do whatever their “leader” says do.

A pox on that. Since that is the case, I'd be in trouble the first day because I would represent the people who sent me and ignore Boehner and McConnell. Guess I wouldn't get any committee assignments - at least I could live with myself.

“Republican lawmakers” and staffers “speaking on condition of anonymity”

Ah, ha....no "Named Sources" = meaningless drivel.

Hi 2ndDV, I hope you are well. I’m glad you posted this. Thank you for your always timely, and interesting posts; especially the recurring one on the value of a handgun.

I emailed my Representative (James Lankford) a month ago, shortly before the recess. He is Chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee. He is the most junior in Republican leadership. I asked, in my email, what I thought would result in a straightforward answer. It got no direct answer. My simple question was, “can I count on your support in not approving a CR that funds the Affordable Care Act (obamacare)?” He sent me a lengthy list of all the repeal bills he supported. He did not answer the question. I let him know that I would not be supporting him, financially or with my vote in 2014. He knows that I maxed out with contributions to our AG and Lt. Gov. He is a charlatan.

BTW, his undergrad degree was from UT Austin.

Again, thank you for posting this.

Gwjack
