And a lot of conservative lap it up. This is the commie media's best ploy and it works.
As usual most people do not understand what happened or what is going on.

The big R republicans did win.
They won because what this was all about after the first day or two was whether the big R’s were going to whip Cruz, Lee and the Tea Party.
So they whipped them. Peter King, dispicable McCain, Burr and many others of the old “in” crowd did everything they could to cause a disaster in the expectation that Cruz would be blamed.
Since they see things only from the view of those inside the Repub-e and have little idea what those of us outside the beltway see, they do not realize that we see that Cruz could have succeeded had the big R guys backed them all the way.
The big R won a battle, but they are as wounded as Cornwallis was when he left Guilford Courthouse, never to be a potent fighting force again.
I have already sent my donation to the Tea Party.
As a T-Partier...we won....the old Republican establishment lost.....first we defeat the RINOS and then we crush the Dems ... we just separated the wheat from the chaff.....and the goats from the sheep.....now it's total war unencumbered.
