That’s just common sense, putting the country first. Unfortunately, many conservatives have a check list. If every condition is not met, they will stay home and not vote.
Lib’s are not like that. They will support the person with the (D) behind the name, period. And that’s why there will be no more Republican presidents.

You are right on all points.

True that. I wouldn't not vote for somebody just because they were overweight. We've had enough skinny and average weight politicians screw us over to be concerned only with weight.

Just to make it clear, I wasn't calling Chris Christie Jabba the Hut. I would have voted for the actual Star Wars character over Obama!

Based on Christie’s history, I don’t think he would have accepted the VP nomination.

Probably less cruel than the truth, which is that picking Chrissy Bacala would have touched off an open mutiny in the party. But whatever works.

Imposer of RomneyCARE AND gay marriage, Mr. Romney
also hated women (Gov. Palin), senators (Sen. Thompson),
small biz owners (Mr. Cain) and the reps (the Speaker).
Mr. Romney was all about HIMSELF,
and helping Obama and Romney’s partner, Soros.

Everyone knows that I’m no Christie fan, but in hind sight, Paul Ryan was not the junk yard dog needed in a VP. Christie would have done better on the debate and would have given Obama a tongue lashing regarding Katrina instead of an ass kissing. I think Christie may have brought in more votes and maybe made it closer.

So, we have the REAL Mitt Romney showing. A neo-leftist Republican. Chris Christie is NOT who we need in higher office!

The e-GOP RINO club, Chamber of Commerce money, and the Democrat stategists (Carville, et al) will continue to push this New Jersey glutinous faggot windbag on the "Republican Party" for 2016.
They might as well just "howl at the islamic jihad moon" (LOL) ...
The "Republican Party" voter base (that's us) has puked our guts out over the last two election cycles with their "magic candidates" that would save us.
It's kinda like President Lincoln looking for a decent general after working with pansy-asses like McCellan.
Like Lincoln in 1862, we're now looking for our "Grant and Sherman" ... and I believe we've found them ... Ted Cruz and Newt Gingrich.
And at this point ... "Juan" McCain can climb back into that Rat-infested Democratic Brothel where he spend most of his precious time.

Well one thing Romney claimed to be for, was for hiring Americans.
I am not disappointed Romney lost.
But we really, really need American jobs. A lot of them.
Now.

People who are sloppy about their physical upkeep are sloppy intellectually, so yes, christie gravitates to leftists.
Or perhaps it is his gravity well which attracts leftists.

It’s to be noted that the last true fat-a*$ President or Vice President (or even nominee to the best of my recollection) was Taft, well before the age of TV. A lot of people might question whether a man that can’t govern himself can govern the nation. And many more are just so superficial that it’s unlikely they’d vote for a lard boy, a gross old bag (Hi Hilly!) or sadly, a dude with a mustache.
Of course if Myth had chosen Pizza the Hutt as his running mate then presumably Pizza wouldn’t have quasi-endorsed Obama during that hurricane bull****.
