Exactly!
But also note that the states have never delegated to the feds, via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate workplace issues that don't fall under the Constitution's Clause 17 of Section 8 of Article I.
Constitution-ignoring Democrats and RINOs in DC are beating the drums concerning this issue undoubtedly to win votes from low-information voters who likely don't understand that, with the exception mentioned above, Congress has no constitutonal authority to address such issues.
Every person who applies for a job should claim to be gay. Then if they’re not hired they can file suit.
I agree with you completely.
I understand your fascination with him., well not really, but we are dealing with Obama now, not Romney. Remember, Obama won and he is doing his damnedest to make sure we never forget it.
I'm really not sure what your Post has to do with the discussion on this Thread, but whatever floats your Boat.
Just my opinion, carry on.
Republicans and ENDA, what is the connection, who is who in it, the republican presidential nominee of only months ago and Karl Rove, and George W. Bush from many years ago, all of them are too far back in history for mention? Is it using up too much of the precious bodily fluids of the limited internet space?
Is it OK to go back many, many years to mention Bush, or is it just Mitt Romney who needs to be left out of any negative connections, or ENDA history, or ENDA background, or context?
The Constitution doesn’t mean a fugging thing to this bunch.
They ignore it like it never existed and their pal John Roberts endorses them in it. May Piss be upon him.
They need to pass it like they passed Obama Care - like the stool sample it is - kinda looks like a Tootsie Roll so it might be good...
You’re conflating orientation with activity.
Whatever Ansel.
My point was simply this, Romney wasn’t and isn’t President so blaming him for anything is a waste of time.
Try going after Obama with the same venom. He is one ruining our lives. Romney is background noise, a distraction.
We all know the Republican Party sucks, so what else is new?
The election isn’t even a year past, Christie is being pushed for 2016, Palin and Cruz are under attack, things haven’t changed much over the months, and from that simple and short post, people here learned something more about GOPe support for ENDA, and just how long and deep that support runs.
Most people here are learning for the first time, that they voted for it in 2012.
Remember: Hire the mentally handicapped.
Sexual orientation determines what kind of activity a person is involved with.
Like I said, the Republican Party sucks.
The only alternative is to change the Party since a Third Party Vote only gets the Democrat Elected.
When they make Sarah Palin the head of the RNC, I’ll give them the time of day. Prebis had his chance and he blew it and surprisingly he is still in charge. He is the Kathleen Sebilious (sic) of the GOP.
All that being said, when it comes to the General Election I follow the Levin Rule. I was one of those who wasted my Vote on Perot in 1992 and I will never repeat that mistake.
The Primaries are where the rubber meets the road, but when it comes down to the RINO or the Communist, I go against the Commie every time.
Some here disagree, so be it.
If not for the Third Party spoiler in VA, we would have had another Governorship. Instead we got slime dripping Terry. If only...
