The tea party (which I support) join, then quit, then join again. We all are in the car but we are not steering it. Believe it or not but elected officials change their stance once elected! It’s understandable that one might not get their wish 100% of the time, but to take your bat and go home does not win the war.

What does "win the war" mean to you?

"The tea party (which I support) join, then quit, then join again We all are in the car but we are not steering it."

The problem is that representative government in the U.S. has been coopted by the elite and entitlement classes.
The working men and women in this country (major TEA party demographic) have lost confidence in our elected and non elected political leaders.

"We all are in the car but we are not steering it."

We are more than willing to climb in to a car being driven by a leader concerned with our welfare and has a clear defined course.

When the war is between two groups I don’t like, why should I join one?
