Ted Nugent, pre-campaign trail: Obama’s a ‘subhuman mongrel’

Rocker-turned-Second Amendment activist Ted Nugent, who’s just taken to the campaign trail for Texas governor hopeful Greg Abbott, has already irked Democrats with his recent slamming of President Obama as a “subhuman mongrel.” Mr. Nugent called Mr. Obama the term during an interview last month with Guns.com. His full statement: “I have obviously failed to galvanize and prod, if not shame enough Americans to be ever vigilant not to let a Chicago communist-raised, communist-educated, communist-nurtured subhuman mongrel like the ACORN community organizer gangster Barack Hussein Obama to weasel his way into the top office of authority in the United States of America,” CNN reported. The statements hit the media especially hard this week because Mr. Nugent was just heading out on the campaign trail with the Texas Republican, Mr. Abbott, who’s hoping to win the GOP stamp of approval for gubernatorial nominee. Democrats point to Mr. Nugent as outlandish, while Mr. Abbott’s main competitor — Democrat governor hopeful Wendy Davis — has called his decision to allow the rocker to campaign for him “repulsive,” CNN reported. A leading staffer for Mr. Abbott, however, said Mr. Nugent draws a crowd. The campaign, for example, only had 100 people who gave a firm commitment to attend one recent event — until Mr. Nugent was announced as a special guest. The number of attendees tripled, the aide told CNN. “On a Tuesday mid-morning at a local restaurant in Denton, Texas, that’s a lot of people,” the aide told CNN.

Go Ted! I’m tired of Republican pansies pussyfooting around the obvious and being afraid to criticize, condemn, and say what needs to be said. Piss on your political correctness.

He's just saying what a lot of people feel. Sooner or later it's bound to come out. I don't blame anybody for feeling this way, but we need to be wise with our terminology because were dealing with snakes. The only thing wrong with what he said was the personal name calling ("mongrel"). But "communist" and the rest fits like a glove. Also, despite the growing domestic tyranny, he has every right to speak his mind, especially against politicians, the main reason for the 1st Amendment confirmation of freedom of speech.

You know, there's too much hand wringing about saying the wrong thing about Obama. We're at the point where saying the wrong thing is better than saying nothing at all. ENOUGH with the GOP loser strategy and the fear of government and Obama. It's time to attack Obama!!! He's been attacking us for years. FIGHT BACK!!!

"Tyranny is when the people fear the government. Freedom is when the government fears you."

He’s only “speaking truth to power.” haha! The demoncrats love that little phrase; they just don’t like it when it happens regarding one of their own.

So what exactly was the insult?
He certainly shouldn't have used the word "subhuman", because that is clearly inaccurate. Mr. Obama might be a marxist with a lot of bad (sociopathic?) traits, but he is certainly a full human.

But check on 'communist', and check on 'raised by communists', and check on 'community organizer'.

Regarding "mongrel", what does that even mean? We are all descended from the 8 people that came off of the Ark. How people mixed amongst themselves afterwards registers a big 'who cares?'

Aw, c’mon, Ted. Why doncha tell us how you REALLY feel ‘bout the Current Occupant now squatting in the White Hut? Don’t hold back, we are all adults here, and just because it might make the dog blush, there is no reason we may not use some very excellent descriptive terms that would easily apply.

Jimmy Carter was a naïve farm boy in comparison. This phony and illegal _Resident came with an agenda, and he will not consider any criticism, no matter how constructive it may be. Without shame, without remorse, contrition is not a concept he can even grasp, let alone even try to fake.

Greg Abbott should denounce Ted Nugent when Obama publicly disowns Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, and other racist and Communist associates from his past.

Also, despite the growing domestic tyranny, he has every right to speak his mind, especially against politicians, the main reason for the 1st Amendment confirmation of freedom of speech which is NOT abridged because some bleeding heart do-gooder or Marxist is "offended". Offense without actual, measurable harm is not Constitutionally actionable but is the offendee's OWN problem.

He said it... it’s Texas... the majority agrees with the comment. There’s already enough limp-wristed pansies in the world, no need for any running against the Communist-in-Chief

Maybe just apologize for using the word “subhuman” and say he meant to use the word socialist.

The Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines “subhuman” as: failing to attain the level (as of morality or intelligence) associated with normal human beings.

So what’s the problem? Clown Prince needs ridiculed...NEEDS IT!

You are still buying into “PC.” When the DemonRats stop calling conservative TEA-party people “terrorists” and other inflamatory names, then maybe you might have a point. They continue to make personal attacks on us; we must fight fire with fire. The time of “gentlemanly debates” and “loyal opposition” is over. It is time to call them out and speak the truth and let the chips fall where they may.

Although, I will agree that comparing BoZO with mongrels is insulting to mongrels. I have 3 and they have more class in their waggy little tails than BoZO could ever hope to have.

Even if he said it, it would just be careless rhetoric, not a major flaw in his character or thought.

The fact is, Obama is the most destructive enemy we have ever had, and when we try to verbally express the magnitude of his evil, our minds can run out of appropriate words.

Nugent is on the correct side of the conflict, and is rational and moral. I have young adopted relatives who are black, and I would entrust their safety to him in a heartbeat.

I don't believe in personal attacks even though, and especially because, that's what the Leftists do constantly because they have no substantive argument to support their tyranny.

But as I said, it's time to say the wrong thing rather than nothing at all and people have to quit being afraid of doing so.

Denouncing this is like trying to not PO the muzzie rats! We conservatives will NEVER reach middle ground with these scum. So stop trying to water down the truth!

There is a time for every purpose under heaven. For instance, if your wife asks, "Do I look fat?" when she is all dressed and made up to go out, that is not the proper time to have a discussion about the health risks of obesity.

When I condemn the use of such negative language in a campaign, I'm thinking in terms of what kind of language will:

1) Immediately get picked up and branded negatively by the mainstream media,

2) Distract attention unnecessarily from the good qualities of the candidate, and

3) Be used to portray conservatives as racists and haters.

Competent adults do not shoot from the hip; they make choices and live by them. Conservatives are not in a mere contest for the office; we are in a war for the nation and our ammo is running low right now. Therefore a verbal bullet should not be wasted.

Unnecessarily nflammatory language is a poor strategic choice. Does not matter how people "feel" -- that's for liberals. What matters is what will get conservatives elected. Fighting words should be used with great precision. Those words "subhuman m*******" were scattershot.

Just another example of why the GOP is called "the stupid party."

Wish I could vote for him. If racist NC NAACP Prez Barber can denigrate Tim Scott by calling him a ventriloquist’s dummy then Ted can call Obama whatever he wants...as long as it’s the truth.

It is.
