Husband Of Connecticut Judicial Candidate: 'I Am Pro-White' [Democrat]
Talking Points Memo ^ | August 8, 2014 | Ahiza Garcia

A Democratic candidate for a judicial seat in Plainfield, Conn. was forced to answer questions about her husband this week after a watchdog group exposed his ties to the white supremacist movement.

The Norwich Bulletin newspaper reported on Thursday that attorney Anna Zubkova, who is running for a seat as a probate judge, said she does not share the views of her husband, who runs a blog called "Mindweapons of Ragnarok" where he waxes about his views on race and white pride. The newspaper reported that the couple have been married for 17 years.

"He did not have those views when we married, but acquired them after," Zubkova told the paper. "What am I supposed to do? Divorce him? It’s not unusual for husbands and wives to have different views."

In response to being "outed" by the media, Zubkova's husband, Rob Freeman, wrote a post on Friday that welcomed visitors to his site.

"I am pro-white, because so much out there is anti-white," Freeman wrote. "I am defending that part of my identity that is being attacked. I am not attacking other races, I am defending my own, and I welcome all sincere allies — Black, Hispanic, Jewish, Asian, Muslim, Arab, Persian. If I missed anyone, chime in."

Freeman was exposed by One People's Project, a watchdog organization that tracks hate groups.

"He was one of 300 neo-Nazis attending a rally in Pennsylvania and, before that, was at some anti-hate forums in Massachusetts," One People's Project founder Daryle Jenkins told the Bulletin. "So we looked him up and created a bio of him."

Although some among her party's endorsing committee have expressed a sense of betrayal, Zubkova maintains that her husband's beliefs are not her own.

"As a judge, I can assure you I would not discriminate against anyone, even based on their beliefs. In my career, I’ve represented clients from many different backgrounds and races, all to the best of my knowledge and ability."

I’m just wondering why no one has any objections to outright racists like Jesse Jackson seeking political office based upon racial grounds.

Take a look at the wikipedia article on One People's Project

OPP has published phone numbers, home addresses and workplace addresses of individuals they have identified as being far right and/or racist.

It looks a lot like the scum at the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Jesse is a popular bigoted racist. I don’t know where he is the “Reverend” of. I mean, he’s knocked up a couple of women and doesn’t support the children, and he charges high fees to protest with union strikes, makes about 500K a year doing nothing but complaining and marching and protesting. Many would call him a snake oil salesman. But liberals love snake oil and they loved being conned out of their money. So they will always worship the con artist Jesse Jackson

If he’s sincere, that doesn’t sound like a neo-nazi to me, not that that is going to matter to those who wanted to ‘out’ him.

Mindweapon's wife, Counselor Zubkova, is apparently of Ukrainian origin. Eastern Ukrainian, to be more precise.

On his blog, he's spouting anti-Kiev propaganda that MH17 was shot down by the Ukrainian government via an air-to-air missile.

He's an MH17 troofer! IOW, he's a blithering nutcase. He's forgotten the First Rule of Holes: when your in a hole, stop digging!

His blog's an interesting read, nonetheless.

That is interesting. As the blogger points out, US Attorney General Oprahs Boyfriend said we needed to have a “national conversation on race”.
So he takes Steadman up on his challenge, and now he’s a racist?
I’ve come to the conclusion that the only way to have a discussion with Obamanites, if you are lightly pigmented, is to stipulate at the outset that you are a stinking racist.

you can bepro-qhite and not be irrationally prejudiced.

there’s so many pro-whatever groups out there and they aren’t targeted as being racist. hard to believe only whites are the one group that when it’s pro-white it’s the only one that’s racist.

screw the pc crap. there is a war on whites in this country ironically being planned and executed out of the white house.

He had me until I read “He was one of 300 NEO-NAZIS”. If that is what he calls knowingly himself, that’s a dangerous person. Individual racial pride, white included is NOT wrong in and of itself.

Agreed. But is this the same group deciding that those 300 are that?

Good point. They may be generalizing or projecting. Usually it’s the later with Dems.
