FWIW a Facebook page/site for our town of 200,000 played a decisive role in unseating two city council members.
It came out of nowhere, and gained 6,000 members by election day. Members included candidates themselves, other political figures, journalists etc.
Supposedly political insiders are very much impressed that a grassroots activity would succeed, as we have.
This is Dana Rohrabacher’s district, BTW. The ousted incumbents were liberals.
Membership is over 7,300 and face to face activities are held regularly.
The guy that started the site, had no political motives; just wanted a place to talk with his neighbors.

So what?! Cruz is in agreement with what McConnell wants to do. He voted for him. He will make no difference though he will continue to speak well.
That is why the Rinos and Libs are going after him so hard. He’s speaking over their heads like Reagan did.
