Newt was GOP-E all the way. He was the one who told New York to vote for deedee Scozfava because she was a solid Republican, and then she endorsed her democrat opponent a few days later. And did you hear the tongue bath he gave Boehner on Hannity’s show? No way Newt!

Newt was GOP-E all the way. He was the one who told New York to vote for deedee Scozfava because she was a solid Republican, and then she endorsed her democrat opponent a few days later. And did you hear the tongue bath he gave Boehner on Hannitys show? No way Newt! Newt's quirky behavior includes
- Making a joint appearance with Nancy Pelosi in an ad calling for action to stop global warming, a cause dear to conservatives' hearts.
- Attacking Paul Ryan's 2011 budget plan, hailed by many conservatives, as "right-wing social engineering."
- Taking a lengthy cruise through the Mediterranean in the spring of 2011, a critical time when other candidates were out fundraising and organizing their campaigns.
- Firing his entire campaign staff.
- Delivering that strange speech at the Republican National Convention in 2012. Despite his reputation as a barnburner of a speaker, Gingrich gave a short speech full of empty platitudes that seemed totally out of character.
I hope he's through with politics for good.
