Yes, indeed, Scott Walker looks like the best candidate. And the Far Left/crony capitalist axis is apoplectic.

God, I love it!

Perry was in the lead until the debate.

“This is a guy who has literally been in elective office his entire adult life,” said a strategist for one rival campaign. “He has made his living off the government sector, the taxpayer. He has never really, to my knowledge, had any kind of serious existence outside of the public sector.”

No sooner did Walker emerge as the early poll-leader than he ran into a series of stumbles, most notably refusing to answer whether or not he believed in evolution or whether he considered Barack Obama a Christian. He then declined to criticize Rudy Giuliani after the former mayor said that President Obama doesn’t love America, while Walker sat a few feet away.

Written by a liberal calling these "stumbles". Who's to say they are "stumbles"?

Did Jeb Bush write this?

Exactly, those were not stumbles.

I like Perry. I do.

But his chances all fell apart with just one word. His campaign was effectively over with just one simple word.

“Waiting for the MSM to accuse Walker of something, phony evidence, etc...or spurious bank accounts .... see what sticks ....”

They’ve already tried in recent days, accusing him of trying to defund sexual assault awareness programs on university campuses. Once again, another in a long, long line of cheap shots.

"David Freedlander, trendy, elite, Daily Beast/Newsweek/CNN journalister...they had only begun the process of pouring over Walker’s record..."

For an elite "journalist," he cetainly makes some basic mistakes in his use of the English language. They're "pouring" what over his record? Water? Motor oil? The word is "poring." Duh...

I know. He had just had back surgery and I think that had a lot to do with his performance.

As usual, the GOPe sill field just one candidate...Jeb Bush. Cruz, Walker, Huckabee, Santorum, Carson etc will bludgeon each other, divide the conservative voters, and clear the path for Jeb.

Rinse and repeat of 2012.
Rinse and repeat of 2008.
RInse and repeat of 2004.

Then Jeb will lose in 2016 to the democrat.
Rinse and repeat.

What will it take for the non-RINO candidates to display unity this time, and go one on one with Jeb?

>>”He had to get elected in a left-leaning county and then in a centrist state.”

The same logic applies to full-term governors of right-leaning states: Hucklebee, Perry, even Jindal. The problem isn’t the person but the office.
