The writer is correct, Cruz does not need to win the White House to push the agenda to the right. Isn’t that part of the point of Cruz’s candidacy? Sure he wants to win, who in their right mind would jump the in the race without the intention of winning? That he can drive it rightward is a nice side effect, but not the goal.

These people need to stop snorting Jell-O. It has filled in the holes left by the spirochetes and will soon displace what remains.

I agree. It’s looking as though Cruz has already pushed J.Bush overboard. His would-be donors are now holding back, looking for someone that actually may be able to stop Cruz, while still answering to the money. Walker is on that list, although Rubio and Christie are higher up.
