Since FDR (who died 70 years ago today), only once has one of the two parties won three consecutive presidential elections. It seems as if the electorate grows weary of on party and puts in the other. Two for Ike, two for JFK/LBJ, two for Nixon, two for Clintoon, two for Bush. Only after the great presidency of Ronald Reagan was a party rewarded with a third term. (The feckless Jimmy Carter only won once, of course). Now, if abysm that is Barack Obama earns his party a third term, especially with the thing that they are going to nominate, then I will eat a pair of my week old shorts.

Which is why we HAVE TO nominate a real conservative like Ted Cruz, not a Bush, Christie or some other squish.

If the GOP does as expected and nominates Jebster then they will make it happen. They have almost perfected nominating the designated loser.
