I don’t know where you live in Texas, but I live in an 85% Mexican neighborhood here in Denton. Most of the men and many of the women get up in the morning and go to work (many have more than one job), the housewives who don’t work outside the house watch the children and there are many people selling tamales, knife sharpening, ice cream, roasted corn and many other things. Many go to Mass or Sunday Church services and Vacation Bible School is huge.
How many are on assistance? I don’t know because I’m not a census worker.
You and I had a discussion yesterday. Your post is very illuminating. Not very long ago, a policeman wrote me up for a traffic violation. I took a left turn at a red light (after stopping). I was tired, wanted to get home, and the only one on the highway, but guilty as sin. I told him that we do that all the time with a stop sign. It didn’t matter; he wrote me up and the fine was beyond belief. If I had refused to pay the fine, it would have resulted in professional and financial destruction. That would be just for a freaking traffic ticket. Millions, millions of illegals come into this country, trash our laws, and bleeding hearts try to turn them into working class heroes while they take jobs from Americans. If I, who have a paper trail from the minute of my birth, did a fraction of their lawlessness, I would be in prison. Bush and Cruz are tripping over each other praising the illegals. It is nonsense. Why do I have to obey the laws, and illegals do not, and if I complain, I am a horrible person? A lot of us complain about Obama never praising Americans. Could Bush and Cruz praise Americans’ work ethic at least on occasion?
You really need to get out more.
To see the “real world” you need to come way down here to South Texas to experience the invasion by those who have no intention in integrating into the American society or culture.
However, they are extremely loyal to their love of our welfare system. You know.....the system that rips our hard earned money from our hands and gives it to these freeloaders in exchange for Democrat votes. Or....maybe you don’t.
