If Donald doesn't drop out and he picks Cruz as his VP, it's still a lose in my opinion... because we would lose Cruz in the Senate where he actually makes a difference and he gets the loser job Biden is vacating, that isn't worth a warm bucket of spit.

Cruz as VP will impact POLICY. He will fill a Dick Cheney role and will be the near automatic GOP nominee in 2020 or 2024.
It would give Cruz the position and experience to take the President’s job in four years. I doubt Trump would want to do eight years tied down to the White House.
The VP spot is whatever the President and the VP want it to be. Dick Cheney was a very important person in the Bush Presidency. I think Trump would have a very active role for Ted Cruz.
