If Trump continues as is and wins the nomination.

Where is the political strongest place for Cruz?

Run as V.P. if asked.

Wait for Attorney General?

Wait for Senate Majority Leader? ...not sure how that would happen?

(I like Senate Majority Leader, make the Sr. Senator from Texas, John Cornyn, his step & fetch boy.)

Senate Majority Leader requires his being elected by a majority of the GOP Senators.
I don’t know how well Sen. Cruz is accepted across the board of Senators.
Do you have any feel/indications to share?

If Trump wins the nomination, he’s going to need help in the senate and the house. All the willy nellies will still be in the pockets of big money.
