MORE WIT Voters will forgive candidates a lot....but they simply will not forgive a candidate who does not understand the repercussions of his words.
AND MORE Too bad Perry did not harken to the old political saying: its not how much the candidate likes the voters that counts......its all about how much the candidate seems to like the voters.

I never heard that one—but so true! Whoever Perry had as advisors did him no favors. Perhaps, though, they did the country a favor.
