Trump was making the point that politically correct speech has done a lot of damage to this country over the past few decades. The people who are offended by this kind of speech are the people who want to keep things as they are. Progressives want to continue ruining the country for everyone except their club. The Conservatives want to continue to complain about how the Progressives are ruining the country. The Americans want to kick both factions of the governing class out of the government and restore the Republic.
