I know he’s probably no relation but Cruz is a major family name on Guam. Many would vote for him just because of that.
He’s surging!!!
His live comments on fox were reprehensible.
US Territories are almost entirely made up of freeloaders (witness Rube-o’s landslide victory in Puerto Rico, for example), so Cruz winning here doesn’t really surprise me.
The Guam Ceiling of Death.
It is written!
How is Cruz doing in the Cuban and Canadian primary polls? :-)
“Cruz poised to win Saturday caucus in Guam”
Why, is BLM and Muslims voting there?
Does trump believe libel laws should be loosened to allow lawsuits against free speech?
Cruz would be a total loser if he didn’t get an island, too.
there are laws against certain speech.
there are also laws regarding libel.
Does that help you?
Nope.
Trump thinks libel laws should be changed so that journalists cannot print information that criticizes him in a manner he thinks unfair.
This is part of his New York Values attitude. The richest man is always right.
He has money. He can buy politicians to support his viewpoint.
When he becomes a politician, he seeks to change the laws so he cannot be criticized and it will be easier for him to sue to gain silence of those less economically rich.
I think Trump is quite wrong about this and I think I love the freedom to criticize him and other public officials.
Does that help you?
How about quoting what he actually said, instead of what you think he’s thinking?
Cruz wins the most worthless places. Ill take trumps win in Florida, Michigan, the entire south.
____
Looks like Cruz has been strategizing for a contested convention since Oct. He won’t get Virgin Islands, someone else beat him to it, unless Yob is working for Cruz.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has been strategic about efforts in U.S. territories from the U.S. Virgin Islands to Guam.
[ Saul Anuzis told Politico in Oct. ]
Anuzis is another Michigander, the former chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, who has been helping Cruz with the island strategy.
And, as Open Secrets pointed out in a blog post last year, in a contested convention Cruz may have to comply with the so-called Rule 40, which requires that he has won the majority of delegates in eight states or territories to be the nominee.

Yob, his wife Erica and Lindsey Eilon were all selected to be unbound delegates to the 2016 Republican Party convention. That gives them power to vote for whoever they like on the floor.
(He recently released a book Chaos: The Outsiders Guide to a Contested Republican National Convention, which according to its Amazon summary promises that people who read this book will know more than anyone else about the most interesting Republican Presidential nomination in a generation.)
Well, well...isn’t that interesting?
Didn’t CRuz’s territories director recently jump ship, for Trump?
I think they just meet in a parking lot and raise their hands. Count is done by a 90 year old oracle.
I wasn’t aware of that. thanks!
Calvo is a cheap date! All it took was a birthday cake to buy his support???
I don’t know if he’ll pick up any in Guam technically.
There are nine delegates for Guam. 6 at-large and 3 for the GOP officials. Unless the rules change at the convention, I don’t think those delegates are bound at this point. So it’s much ado about nothing.
You know it’s bad when less than a week from four major states in terms of delegates the place their talking about is Guam.
