I was a volunteer at county headquarters and on several campaigns in Iowa circa the 1980’s. Do the math.
Have you pondered the truthfulness of my tagline yet? That truthfulness is something with which you (and ALL Trumpsterdom — including the messiah himself) will have to deal.
Ted Cruz is a warrior. He is not a defeatist. He will NOT be surrendering to your messiah...and no amount of whining will change that basic fact.
Yes a party insider -doing the work of the GOPe. Party before country and all that...
This really does explain your motivation for doing what you do.
A volunteer in the 1980’s is a party insider? You make me laugh.
not any more... I pondered it until the truthfulness escaped me. And you really should not refer to Trump as messiah, as that is blasphemy, just like when a candidate runs on the persona of being “the face of God” to the rest of us.
Jesus is the face of God, no one else, even if they hang out on the planet Kolob with Glen and Mitt and now “face of god” Ted.
Get over the wisdom of the shallow tag line dude, its really not too deep for most of us. Proverbs 3:7...
On another thread you also stated your were a Bundler for the GOP.
So Yes a party insider.
The way things are going in New York, Cthulhu is probably the best choice.
I’m a fundraiser for the Cruz campaign, as I was for the late Fred Thompson in 2008. The last time I raised a dime for the Republican Party was in 1987.
You don't know that.
He could just as easily be a Marxist who will start rounding up people for the "reeducation camps." Or the political cabal might decide before then to just do away with the pretense of elections since we, the people, clearly are incapable of choosing our own leadership.
Or the shenanigans committed by the GOP establishment and Cruz to thwart the will of the voters will open enough people's eyes that we have the force and will to push the corruption out--or at least reduce it to less damaging levels.
The results of the actual primary in CO have not been released. For all we know, Trump won CO in a landslide. What we do know is that in an actual representative caucus, the number of delegates for each candidate should be proportional to popular support for each candidate. That clearly did not happen in CO. Also, according to rules changes in CO in Aug, 2015, CO's delegates were supposed to remain unbound until the convention--so what happened (besides nothing honest)?
TRUMP or CRUZ -— The first one to get to 1237 gets the Nomination Brass Ring -— PERIOD.
There will be NO surrender prior to that defining moment. That possibility ended when Trump ended the informal alliance between Trump & Cruz.
What is this ? Can you go into one of Trump’s Casinos and demand the rules change just because special you decide to play the game ?
Nope, no matter how many threads you post on it.
You are more knowledgeable about this, but won’t they be writing rules for this convention prior to voting? Can’t they just change that?
Why would Trump and Cruz’s delegates go along with rescinding Rule 40?
Haven’t those party insiders changed a lot since the 1980s? And as “just” a county office volunteer how do you know the loyàlty of delegates nationwide.
Sadly I no longer trust the party I loved after them shoving McCain and Romney on voters neither had any intention of defeating the Kenyan.
Because they are party loyalists before they are supporters of a candidate in many cases. The party and good times/perks are what matter most to many. Kind of like how freebies will always get some peoples’ votes.
I (completely) agree.
Cruz is establishment. Big time.
I can tell you Iowa’s GOP party insiders are far more conservative than they were in the 1980s. Social conservatives from the Huckabee and Santorum campaigns have become permanent, as have a few Ron Paul supporters.
The days of Iowa RNC member ‘Abortion Granny’ Mary Louise Smith, Gov. Robert Ray, and Congressman Jim Leach are long gone.
Yeah now the party insiders love Islam and are Globalists. NAU! NAU! NAU! Its the GOP way!
So that means the GOPE is NOT going to dump Cruz and replace him with Romney or Ryan or somebody? I'm so confused.....
