Yes they would. That's why the Dems want Cruz to win.
Democrat voters are naive about policy. If they can't have Bernie, they'll switch to the Capitalist, proving that they don't vote on ideas.
In this election -> they'll vote for authenticity. Don't fool yourself that it's about Liberal values. Democrats don't really have values - they just think they do. Since they don't, we'll take their votes happily.

The problem that the zealots don't see is that many Democrats would crawl over poisoned broken glass to vote against the "evangelist" Cruz, after the Media DeathStar got done painting that particular barn the color of Christian Zealot.
Doesn't matter if it's true.

Trump extremists don’t care that he doesn’t really have values - outside of appraising Eastern European women and real estate - but he’ll take your gullible votes. He couldn’t run RAT because the rat estab knows he’d slaughter them with his populism and pro-capitalism.

Eleanor Clift is almost as horrible a person as Hillary. Her screeching RAT talking points soured me on watching McLaughlin many years ago.
To: kiryandil
Agreed. It took me a while to see that all the while the media was talking about how unelectable Trump was ... they were just trying to influence Republicans into picking Cruz.

It’s been ages since I watched the McLaughlin Group. His was one of the few shows that had some diversity of opinion - hence all the shouting. Clift is very leftwing.
For conservatives, this is another endorsement for Cruz.

Good try, Dynoman.
Espousing conservative views since WAAAAAAAY back when you decided to run for the Republican nomination doesn't negate the liberal views, liberal donations, and liberal actions you've exhibited your entire life.

No joke.
So, she is still alive? Who knew... And who cares...

It doesn’t mention abortion or gay marriage. Forget Trump’s “evolving” position. What was his position 5 years ago?

Ok, I’ll play. What liberal views?
Those that he’s exhibited his entire life, prior to 9mos to a year ago. But I’ll be charitable and give 2 nanoseconds of thought to supporting the liberal slug if you can cite 3 things that he’s DONE in his life, prior to running for President, that shows he’s got sincerely held conservative beliefs. Where are the conservative foundations he’s set up with his billions. Where did he use his billions or the media that he is such a “master” of to fight the system that “forced” him to donate to all those liberal causes and politicians.
Or when you fail at that you could just admit that there are none and you don’t care, you just want him to stick a shiv in the GOP even if it means the whole damn republic is gonna fall around our ears...as long as your spite is satisfied. You would at least be intellectually honest then.
