...in which he expressed a strong wish that the white working class die out.

Isn't it sad when the "pundits" and intelligentsia wish that the very people who built, defended, and made this nation great would simply disappear, become "non-persons", in Marxist parlance. My dad worked himself into an early grave building a life for his family, providing for our needs, playing by the rules, paying his taxes, never breaking a law in his entire life. Now there are these punks who express satisfaction that he has died. My Dad went to war against tyranny and lived to tell the tale, came home and married the girl he left behind, and led a life far greater in service, kindness, and nobility than any of these pretenders today. They have built nothing, stand for nothing, and will leave nothing to show for their miserable and petty lives.

You see the elite’s “qualities” in the adherence of three former Republican candidates for the nomination who signed a solemn pledge that they would support whichever of them won the party’s nomination; Bush, Kasich and Cruz have now welsched on the deal, and by doing so help Clinton (though a tiny bit in my estimation). The people you describe like your father and my father and family, treated a written agreement as a solemn pledge to be made good, even though it cost then for keeping to it. If Trump had lost and had sat out and pouted, the same people would have raised a storm. When you can’t trust Bush, Kasich and Cruz to keep a solemn agreement for something that would cost them very little, we all know that these three, like George Will, most of National Review, and the other never Trumpists, can’t be trusted with the big issues. That’s how we ended up with the Republican congressional “leadership” we’ve got now.
