I find this “27 points” very believable, simply because Trump has blow out crowds at his events and Hitlery has few. There are other indicators out there too.
This latest 11 yo attack against Trump will be forgotten by election time. The Uniparty will likely come up with worse stuff, but that absolute worst of Trump is choir boy stuff compared to Hitlery’s deeds.
This latest attempt is probably to dump Trump so they can stick Jeb in there.
I agree that Trump is probably under-polled but I don't think crowd size at rallies is dispositive evidence of broad-based strength. People who are motivated to attend rallies are the true believers anyway, basically preaching to the choir, or having an evangelist speak to a church congregation. Great for whipping up enthusiasm among the already converted.
Trump probably has more support than the polls indicate because those who support him generally do not answer survey calls, or are deliberately tossed out of the totals if they do. Many do not voice their support for fear of retaliation. I don't want to deal with vandalism of my property, and I know of many others who likewise fear the violence inherent in leftist beliefs.

Much, much truth to that statement. Generally speaking, conservative types are quite reserved in speaking their opinions as well as having their opinions well thought out. Whereas libs tend to believe their masters and are very boisterous in expressing their opinions, to the point of taking physical actions against those of opposing views.

I understand your concern. But do you not realize that the media has already been breathlessly trying to destroy Trump's image for months and months with all manor of nearly identical tactics. In addition he has already been hit with over half a billion dollars in negative ads. Why do you think more of the same is going to be effective this time around? That is the definition of insanity. This type of thing has already been shown not to work against Trump.
Trump has acknowledged, apologized and promised to do better in the future. The only thing different this time around is that the Never Trumpers have just joined in and unloaded everything that they have. But this will still blow over like every other nasty attack tried earlier in the race. This nothing burger will not change the perception people have about Trump.
Hillary will continue to lie about the truly damaging revelations that keep coming up about her. So these things will continue to fester and cause people to reconsider their support, especially with “independents and undecided”. Hillary's numbers might spike fro a few days, but they are going to continue to deteriorate. If this is the best that those who want to take Trump has... they unloaded to early.
It will most likely be found that this attack came directly our own side... the Bushes, Romney, Ryan, McCain, and the Never Trumpers are traitors who are trying to hold onto their piece of the pie no matter what it costs the country. In other places and other times they would all be lined up against the wall this morning and shot. This is not going to happen here, but politically they have all consigned themselves to the trash bin of history. We are witnessing the implosion of the old guard of the Republican Party. We do not have to play by their rules any more, where people on our side have to be saints and the people winning on the other side can be absolute scum like Bill and Hillary. It is refreshing isn't it?
