that’s why I say a recount should start with the total number over all votes and end with the exact same total of votes. they may be a looted different but cannot end up with more votes than started with.

Like recounting how many pills come in your 30 day supply of Rx drug. a recount is knowing the amount you are looking for and seeing it should come up the same or very very close.

coming up even like 50 more is some kind of fraud, like guessing who someone voted for on the ballots that were set aside because they could not figure it out the first time or worse adding in ballots that were not in the count the first time (arrived too late or manufactured)

I think states on the night of election should have like 4 counting groups (2 R, 2D) for any hand counting and the groups are in places where they cannot see the totals of the other groups. the 4 groups should all come up with the same numbers. no need for recounts and less chance of any cheating. Can’t wait for the 2017 expiration of the Republicans can’t challenge fraud. Maybe they can push for better ways to count votes and verify accuracy if they can be involved more in the initial counting/tallying process.

Filing for a recount is too late. They have to contest the election by saying it’s illegal.

Stein had recount in Ohio in 2004. This is just to raise money to fund her party. I understand there’s a disclaimer on her website that says that not all funds may be used for the recount and there are no refunds.

Gotta agree with you. These diehard conspiracy posts do get old. Many amount to panic based on fake news based on more fake news.

Like I’ve said on other threads, Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil needs to advertise on FR with instructions on making hats. FR would never have another freepathon, and instead would be paying members.

I wonder if anyone has e-mailed that to Ms. Stein...

It is well worth reading the filings by the Stein team in Pennsylvania. The professor whose affidavit they rely on has nothing but a lot of vague, and unsupported accusations. In fact, the documents he includes as exhibits don't even support his speculation.

Here is the petition, which apparently also is seeking relief that isn't available in Pennsylvania - at least according to the Democratic Secretary of State.

Prof. Halderman states that:

"The 2016 presidential election was subject to unprecedented cyberattacks apparently intended to interfere with the election"

"The Department of Homeland Security has stated that senior officials in the Russian government commissioned these attacks"

"One explanation for the results of the 2016 presidential election is that cyberattacks influenced the result. This explanation is plausible, in light of other known cyberattacks intended to affect the outcome of the election..."

What the US government actually said is different from what Halderman implies in his affidavit:

"The USIC and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) assess that it would be extremely difficult for someone, including a nation-state actor, to alter actual ballot counts or election results by cyber attack or intrusion"

Exhibit E from the petition, a Joint Statement from the Department of Homeland Security and Office of the Director of National Intelligence on Election Security, says the opposite of what Halderman implies it says.

His affidavit is flimsy, and the petition seems weaker.

Is this a real ‘recount’ or a ‘re-tabulation’? I’m confused.

Schmidt noted the county Board of Elections is required to audit 2 percent of voting machines following the election anyway, according to the Pennsylvania elections code. That means after each election is wrapped up, officials randomly audit voting machines to ensure the number of votes cast matches the number of electronic results in the central tabulation system.

What?!? Only TWO PERCENT of their machines are required to check if their totals even match the totals they're supposed to have? That should be an easy obvious thing on 100% of them!

I believe she did not ask for a recount but to declare the PA elections illegal? So she would not need all these recount efforts.

This an attempted coup by soros and no one knows ,cares or is fighting this with lawyers:

You can bet Trump's lawyers are primed and ready - there's nothing to fight unless an official action is taken.....until it hits a judge, it isn't real and there is no way to take action except to be prepared by staying up on all the particulars.

Dude.

I love your passion, but you are flat wrong.

We have on this forum, one Larry Schweikart, who is very close to Team Trump.

He informs us that not only is Trump aware and active on this issue, but he’s keeping his cards close to his vest.... just like he said he would do, in the debates. Don’t inform your enemies of your plans and activities.

Nobody ruled anything. She just filed it. This takes time.

You are correct. That is what she filed yesterday. There has been no ruling on her suit in PA either way.

I read the one that she filed in Wisconsin and it was similar if not the same. I felt like it read like a junior high research paper. Lot’s of might have and could have and we feel like statements. I read no actual evidence nor any statement that could be considered as such. There were a lot of if “x” is true and “y” is true then we feel like “z” has to be true too.
