I think in the long run the country is going to really regret doing this, even threatening to do this. The type of “metube” people who are going to become electors going forward is going to be really embarrassing and this has the potential to take down the process in its entirety. The states better fix this before the next Presidential election or I predict many more Suprun types on both sides. They can literally hold the entire country hostage if they decide to organize (much easier in the modern world).
