I agree that McClintock was more conservative, but McClintock was an opportunist.
I think I voted for McClintock. (I say think because I may have voted for Roscoe, I don’t remember).
An opportunist can be described of anyone seeking office. But you put up McClintock vs. Issa, and there is no question which man had the experience and the better agenda to undo the mess in Sacramento (and to the point, which group of status quo pols and swamp-dwellers feared more, and it wasn’t Issa).

The Rats in CA are on a mission to get every last Republican now that Hillary won Orange County (the last Coastal bastion of Conservatism).
I believe he Represents parts of Oceanside, home to many Veterans and Active Duty Military due to its close proximity to Camp Pendleton.

The Trump supporters that are able to fill up the stadiums need to start showing up to these town halls - not to support Issa and others directly, but to keep the bussed in liberals from having a place to sit and creating this kind of chaos and intimidating these too easily intimidated congressman - instead of the place being completely filled with liberals going bonkers and creating a spectacle for the press to show the uninformed masses how “the public” has turned against the GOP, if they were instead filled with people insisting the GOP actually implement their agenda rather than the GOP being made to be ashamed of their agenda and have to act apologetic to a raucous leftwing crowd that was bussed in to harass and protest against the GOP members of Congress and free media to the Democrat propaganda machine.
