As I pointed out during the campaign, but was shouted down here, Trump ( who I ended up voted for) spent much of his life as a Dem, and was basically a New York progressive. So....let’s not be shocked when he reaches out, especially in light of the incompetence of the Rep “leadership” in Congress.
Was Ike a progressive from New York? Was Reagan? Because they both did deals with Democrats all the time.
