Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., has signed on to a new bill to be introduced Friday by Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., and Susan Collins, R-Maine, to block President Trump's order to ban transgender military service, according to two congressional aides.
The stand-alone bill, which is also co-sponsored by Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., the top Armed Services Democrat, has the same language as an amendment proposed by Gillibrand and Collins this week for the National Defense Authorization Act that would prohibit the military from barring service based on gender. That amendment never received a floor vote due to a dispute between Republicans and Democrats over debate of the NDAA....

A “ban” doesn’t need to be implemented, these sick people are ALREADY banned by virtue of a DISORDER.
A law would have to be passed to ALLOW them, and that ain’t going to happen.

John McCain doesn’t really believe in all these things he keeps endorsing. He knows that Donald Trump has come out on some position, so in almost mindless reactionary fury, McCain immediately takes the contrary position. Just like killing the option of even voting on the repeal of Obamacare, that was a sheer spite vote, tipping things into oblivion.
Mean growling dog in the manger, keeping the horses from being able to eat.
Romney was the last time I voted Republican just because the alternative was unacceptable.

I hope he has enough votes for a constitutional amendment since that’s what it will take to usurp the presidents powers over the military!
