I’ve driven M-48A5 and M-60A1 tanks. The problem with running over protesters is that the ones you want flattened are directly in front and will pass under the vehicle in between the tracks.

Solution is to stop, put the vehicle in neutral steer, and then turn the wheel hard over and floor it. The tank will spin on its tracks and smear anyone under it into pureed pizza. The fun part is the screams.

Still have to hose off the treads afterward.

That’s why a steam roller is better. No gap between the treads and it’s easier to hose off.

Another problem is that the street there at the White House will start to smell like San Francisco, after they’re squished like that...
