This question Ian’s answer are odd to me. She wouldn’t “let” a child of a VP serve on the bird of a “foreign company”?
Who is she to determine who can work for who? And if we are talking about political corruption, what about domestic companies, campaigns, non profits, educational institutions, etc?
What if the child is actually successful in their career? Should no trump children work at the trump corporation?
The question should be “will you fight political corruption and cronyism, even within your top administration officials”?
And she plans to tell adult children what guns they can't own.
And she plans to tell adult children they can't say the words “illegal aliens.”
I'm starting to see a pattern here.
I'm putting on my Nomex suit, but this is an issue I see with a lot of women...and liberals, there's a dictatorial nature about them.
My lovely wife often expresses what she thinks our (two) adult children should and should not do. It makes her mad when I tell her to lay off, they're adults (32 & 30) providing for themselves and their families.
My dear departed mom got the same message from me, when I informed her my next stop after ADA Officers Basic at Fort Bliss was Fort Benning and Airborne School. After listening to her objections for a couple of minutes, I reminded her that I was an adult and had considered the consequences of my decision.
As to giving advice to my sons and nephews, the best advice I've given them? When it comes to women, don't come to me for advice...I still haven't figured them out after 65 years on the planet.
I think it was Will Rodgers that said “there are only two ways to argue with a woman and they’re both wrong “.

There is no certainty in life. But I would tell a young man in the market for a wife . . . meet her father and evaluate if he has his head on straight. If he is a weak man, that could be a problem for her and her husband.
Meet her mother and see if she has her head on straight.
Crazy parents are NOT determinative, but they are one more data point.
The most important thing for a young man is to make sure he has his head on straight. And that means he has to take care of spiritual matters.
White liberal ‘elites’ in DC spread the money around - to their friend.s and family. We can look at what little was done for the Country during the Obama years and see that... DC is dirty.
