Here's Why President Trump Should Not Form a New Political Party: Trump’s base needs to become one of the new factions that strikes a deal to build a new coalition.

Sorry, they have ruined the brand. It’s almost as if you have to apologize for being a Republican now.

I say let’s bring back the Vega, or maybe the Pinto. They have an equally good change of capturing the public imagination.

“...strikes a deal...” means surrender and get nothing for staying in the party.

They're not selling this "rebuild from within lie" lie to keep conservatives from leaving. The Uniparty is also worried about how many people would leave the Democrat half of the Uniparty to support someone who represents them, especially if they saw millions of others already going.

The fraud of government depends on selling suckers that they have to pick one of the two choices in front of them.

The Senate trial is going to be disposed of either on procedural basis (can’t impeach after he’s left office), or will be cabined to whether or not the speech amounted to incitement. The senate will outright forbid introduction of evidence of election fraud. “Not relevant.”

I think the swamp is nervous because the question of election fraud is not going to go away, no matter how much the senate pretends this is a settled issue.” It’s as settled as Copernicus, sun orbits the earth.

Trump is going to come after the GOP hard. The people demand it. Pick one or two and make examples. Graham, Rubio ... people the writer identifies as coming around, are the bigger snakes. Of course the ten reps who voted to impeach have to go.

Listening to those still advocating for “purging the GOP” of its RINOs is no longer laughable as I cannot understand the mindset. Your fear of losing a couple of cycles to the Dems because the New Party would only weaken the GOP is the price to pay to move on to a REAL opposition to the Socialists! This idea that somehow the US has always been a two party system and that it has to remain that way is ludicrous! Did it ever occur to anyone (still advocating to “reform” the GOP) that the point of a New Party is to DISPLACE the GOP as the second party in the U.S. The GOP can wither away like the Whigs and be replaced by a NEW Party in a two major party system. Yes, it’ll take some time and some more pain but the outcome will certainly be DIFFERENT than the Uniparty system we ALL know we have now!

Two core planks for the republican party have always been, allegedly, smaller govt. and law and order. The US govt has never been bigger and more lawless than it is now.

Well, that's how I learned math, the government keep s growing so the GOP has failed.

Cut off the head, or heads.

McConnell is old and will be out anyway, but knock him out it he runs. Knock out his designated replacement, Thune. Start now. Knock out Rubio and Graham. Graham is an extension of McCain. Knock out all 10 who voted to impeach. Get McCarthy.

Target all of them. Getting a 50% sucess rate would be pretty good. Never let up on the traitors. Make it personal.

Don’t limit the attack to fed offices. Traitor governors.

I have to admit I’ve mused about, as the left continues this year to riot and try to take control of the D party, some D party members switching to the R party.

That sort of thing actually happens all the time. I’d also like to see Romney go to the D side and end the charade.

I’d like to see the GOP expell Romney. He can go “I” like Angus King, Bernie Sanders.

If they can’t expel him, strip him of power. As it is, these clowns buy their way into power with cash, not with ideas.

Listen, folks, a new party is the sure road to obscurity.

I understand the frustration with the Republican Party, but the solution is to take over the party from the inside.

Did AOC and ‘the squad’ start their own party? NO, they’re taking over the DNC. We need MAGAs taking over the RNC.

I voted against him in the primary. Over the past several elections, about 33% of the primary voters voted against him. Trump endorsed him as he did Nancy Mace.

Trump will need to get involved in the 2022 primaries. WQe need good challengers.

The Republican Party is not the problem, election fraud is. Energy should be devoted to digging out and exposing the fraud. Energy spent towards squabbling about the party is wasted energy. If you don’t expose the cheating, you won’t win any future elections regardless of what happens in the party. You don’t fix a problem without eliminating the root cause.

Once again..... talk about new party or overrunning gop is moot at this point. What part of massive voter fraud and rigged elections is not being fully understood. Only those approved by the uni-party will be allowed into the club from here on forward.

Wake up America.

Trump also endorsed McCain, Romney and other Bush League Republicans who turned on him as soon as they were elected.
His record on endorsements leave much to be desired.

Pelosi will send the article of impeachment to the Senate on Monday. Schumer wants to start the trial on Tuesday.

Hard to understand how the Dems can limit the Trump defense on election fraud when it is included in the article of impeachment. It is totally relevant. Who decides? Will Roberts preside?

Doubt seriously that 17 Reps can be found to convict. Another kangaroo court will divide the country even further. And I wonder if Kelly(AZ) and Warnock(GA) will want to vote to convict since they are up again in 2022.
