---SNIP--- The gov vowed to donate a “significant portion” of his windfall to charity, yet he gave away just $500,000, to the United Way of New York State — a tenth of his total pre-tax proceeds. And he took a tax break for the gift, deducting $300,000 of it this year and $200,000 to show up next year.
Cuomo should give all the money to charity. He profited off a pandemic made worse by his own policies — and covered up his malfeasance as he wrote the book, keeping his reputation intact long enough to ensure a big payday.

In today’s political world book deals are just legal bribes.
Who investigates the publishers of these books to see where the money comes from to pay the politicians for their books?
Who investigates the sale of these books to see if any books were actually sold and if anyone (or group) bought large number of them?
He should pay for the funerals of the people he sent to the nursing homes.
These ‘publishers’ seem to be money laundering operations for the Deep State low lifes that we have been inflicted with. How many books would have to be sold for Cuomo’s book to be profitable? Cuomo has sold 48,000 and 7 audio tapes, so Simon and Schuster had no intention of turning a profit. Hunter Biden’s “Beautiful Things” has sold 10,000 copies (no doubt to the Democrats) and had a ‘bonus’ of “high six figures”. Jill and Joe Biden earned 16.5 million in book sales in 2019, according to their tax records. Simon and Schuster has lost their butts on books sales to these losers. Why? Do they not have a board of directors that require profits?
Shocked....shocked I tell you(/s).
Son of Sam law should apply to this criminal.
I don’t feel sorry for New Yorkers. Not one bit. They put this clown in office three times and they’ll do it again.
Lying.
It’s what cuomo does.
it’s who he is.
