A Radical Plan for Trump's Second Term
Axios ^ | 7/22/2020 | Jonathan Swan

Posted on 07/22/2022 5:19:42 AM PDT by BuchananBrigadeTrumpFan

Former President Trump’s top allies are preparing to radically reshape the federal government if he is re-elected, purging potentially thousands of civil servants and filling career posts with loyalists to him and his "America First” ideology, people involved in the discussions tell Axios.

The impact could go well beyond typical conservative targets such as the Environmental Protection Agency and the Internal Revenue Service. Trump allies are working on plans that would potentially strip layers at the Justice Department — including the FBI, and reaching into national security, intelligence, the State Department and the Pentagon, sources close to the former president say.

The author obviously intends this to be a cautionary tale, but it gives me renewed hope for the future!

Purging civil servants is what should have been done in Trump's first term.

It was perfectly fine with the press when the Clinton's purged the Bush civil servants.

It’s not even true - it’s putting people in who aren’t insane and are competent.

Cutting the extraneous would be true.

It’s well past time for real reform.

Civil Service Reform — no government unions, and no Senior Executive Service.

Move EVERY department OUT of the Washington area.

Interior to Wyoming or Montana, i.e. the interior

Agriculture to Iowa or Nebraska

Etc.

Typical projection by a leftist, trying to scare his base up.

But I do hope that he is correct!

F em all!

For over four years, the media was screaming bloody murder that Trump was a radical and would be a tyrant. Other than mean tweets, he was actually very constrained. Unless you consider deregulation and good trade negotiations to be radical. Nothing ever happened... unless you count the Jan.6 farce, which at the VERY MOST (which I don’t even believe) he didn’t get out there and talk people down quick enough.

This time, the swamp needs radical changes. No more pushing the boulder up the hill. These unelected activist armies needs to be pushed down the hill.

I agree, Should have been done the 1st day in office. The guberment is way too bloated/ One out of 7 Americans work for the guberment? WHY do we need so many?

Changes in the budgets too. Now they work to spend every dime or their budgets get cut. What if the head man received 10% of his leftover budget at the end of the year? Considering of course the goals of whatever had been met.

Conservatives are ALWAYS “radical.”

Democrats, liberals, and even antifa are NEVER “radical” or “extreme.”

Even antifia running wild attacking people and burning buildings down is “justified.”

We have a completely vile, evil, traitorous media and reforming it, replacing it, and purging it should be priority #1.

Whoever gets in will need to bring the National Guard from the red states. The swamp will not go peacefully.

This is a clarion call to all the deep state down to the lowest levels. They are basically putting out a contract for all the minions to do whatever vile evil thing is necessary to destroy trump and anyone who would support him to prevent this from happening.

“...purging potentially thousands of civil servants and filling career posts with loyalists to him and his “America First” ideology...”

Does purging include weeping, gnashing of teeth, severe triggering, and disposal in the nearest sewage pit?

Asking for a friend.

"...purging potentially thousands of civil servants and filling career posts with loyalists to him and his "America First” ideology..."

And the problem is...what?

Ah. The problem is reducing the size of government, firing government employees on government owned property plotting insurrection on videoconferences (that happened) and getting rid of unnecessary people working to subvert the government.

Yeah. Those are REAL problems for Leftists.

Every mentioned agency needs to either be shuttered outright, or drastically re-manned with normal, non-DeepState actors.

“purging potentially thousands of civil servants and filling career posts with loyalists”

Ya mean just like every Democrat has done?

Tactic: Force you to live up to the rules, they avoid entirely.

I have faith in one thing, that Washington DC will protect itself from any such purge.

This story is really just relaying the fears the media has to Pelosi, so that she’ll have Congress create a new ‘law’ that prevents the POTUS from doing any of the good things proposed in this article. The Senate will pass, and then Biden will sign it into law.
