It was a 5-minute long commercial ad.
Much ado about nothing.... but, when you have nothing and need something you can use against a political opponent, you grasp at straws... or, in this case...
you grasp at thin air.
On the upside... at least it’s not a case of Noem’s opposition making crap up ‘out of thin air’ like they do against Trump.

What does that mean? And why the comma?
If Noem had been at RD Anderson in Houston, and did a 5-min spot in the same fashion, would that be a target of a lawsuit?
It seems odd that she would overtly diss businesses in her own state. (Hope she doesn’t plan on getting the dentists’ votes next time around.)
And just overall, it seems tacky for any governor to do a commercial like this.

I don’t know about lawsuits and relevant laws, but what a bizarre and whacky thing she did and it needs to be explained because it makes her look like a whacky person and worse.
This is a serious and mystifying commercial ad for an out-of-state dentist, done by a sitting Governor.
The dentist apparently did a great job, fixing a long-term problem that she had.

Seems like pitiful hit job. If she spent funds illegally then it needs to be looked into. If she made money on an endorsement good for her.

She was probably thinking that this would get the Chad-Karens on the internet all hot and bothered. She was right.
Then do the commercial when you resign or are done with politics. This was a mistake.

When I was a young boy in the 60’s my dentist was Richard Nixon.
Whether this dentist thing is good or bad is not as relevant as someone going after a person that is on Trumps potential VP list.
It shows they are digging for dirt. If this is all they have on her, then that’s a good thing.
