how did john thune lose the race to tim johnson in SD? amazing given the routs of last night and two presidential visits in 4 days last week. weak if you ask me.

Because the Dems in SD stoled the seat via the old tried and true way...ballot stuffing.
Thune was far ahead at midnight....1 am....2 am....3 am...then WHAM - massive votes for Johnson "show up" from 2 precints with overwhemlming "absentee votes".

you don't see too many 90/10 splits in a precinct, let along them just happening to be the final precincts counted - with the totals changing the result of the election.There were precints in PA in 2000 that had a 102% voter turnout and went 98-100% for Gore!

John Breaux is a disgusting human being...in it totally for himself and the press he can get as a "moderate" while thinking all he has to do is cut the baby in half.
He's a fierce partisan when he wants to be.
