As a CC member, and as someone who knows and likes both of these guys, I'm neutral for now. Colburn faces an uphill battle - Gilchrest is very highly regarded by everyone (including Dems) and easily trounced a very well-funded guy in last year's primary.

I've worked on Colburn's campaigns in the past and can testify that he is very experienced and tenacious. Let me know what you think of his speech Thursday night, and how he's received there.

That said, he broke RR's 11th commandment with a very harsh attack mailer last month.

Heh, the event was cancelled. I called a phone number for help finding the bulding, and they said the President and half the members were out of town. They might've figured that out before they placed the notice in the paper!
