I do agree with you there. We do own two TVs but don't even bother to pay for cable. Our two small children watch some shows but mostly videos....soon to be DVDs. I do think the days when shows could show straight people of the same sex as "just roommates" are over. It is a sad but true thing in our society now.

Just curious if you have any children. One's perspective generally changes dramatically when you have a child. Mine sure did.
