Memories of the tragedy have tormented Aguilera, causing emotional trauma, feelings of guilt and failed relationships ... I find it a little hard to sympathize for the "torment" this thug is going through when there are still husbands without wives, sons without fathers, and parents without their children because Janet Reno's public relations stunt went badly, badly wrong. To date, not a dime of compensation has been paid to any of the Waco victims or their families. And several are still behind bars.
Get back to me in a decade. Or better yet, swallow a shotgun.

"It was something painful I had to go through in life," he said of Waco, "and I had to come back and face it, just accept it." Oh, this is just great isn't it? This scum bucket's attempt to put out damage control over his part in the most outrageous attack by federal law enforcement on innocent civilians that led to the deaths at Waco and OKC hoping to not so much will be made of the fact that JUSTICE as STILL not been served when the likes of him gets promoted to the postion he now dares to hold. He can take his PAIN and shove it where the sun don't shine, he has no business in that office.

Now the head of a 10-agent office, Aguilera enthusiastically talks about his plans to make the ATF more recognizable for its assault on crime rather than how it's seen in some circles synonymous with Waco. He said he plans to increasingly push federal initiatives like the Safe Streets program, which attempts to keep guns out of the hands of felons, and the Youth Crime Gun Interdiction Initiative, a collaboration with state and local law officers that aims to disrupt the flow of firearms to juveniles
Which is why I don't support Exile.......

That's something the dead Davidians will never be able to say.

Images of the shootout and siege, scenes that once gripped viewers around the globe but which long since have faded from the public consciousness ... your memory is getting cloudy ... things that used to bother you don't seem so important anymore ... the outrage you used to feel is slipping away ... you are becoming a happy, contented sheeple ... sleep ... sleeeeep ... sleeeeeeeeeeep ....

In their dreams. It's burned in my memory like it was yesterday.....
And in mine. I will never forget the images I saw that April 19th, no matter how old I live to be. It is a black and horrible stain of dishonor that will forever be affixed to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

>>...Vernon Wayne Howell ordered the fire started, he and he alone is rsponsible for the firey death of those people ...<<
I believe that both sides made huge errors and are to blame.
Koresh had his people believing that they would be involved in a final "Apocalypse" and they believed this was it. The ATF got their egos in a wad and had to get Koresh on something.
The FBI had thier PSYOPS blaring dying rabbits sounds into the childrens' ears, etc.
The media is also to blame. Anyone remember night after night after night listening to the talking heads bleat "when is the government gonna DO SOMETHING?", during the long seige? So the govt. did.
Lots of blame to go around.
Your link in a prevous post linked to commentary rebutting the video tape series by Linda Thompson. While I never drew the same conclusions she did (flames shooting from tanks) there was one scene on her tapes that I'll never forget and I believe is damning for the government:
The Branch Davidians had a flagpole in front of their church/home. On the flagpole was their blue flag.
On April 19, the flagpole was UPWIND of the church away from it by several yards.
On the video, you can see the church burning to the ground and the flagpole off to one side. Then the flag goes sailing across the screen with the wind.
As I said, the pole was UPWIND and AWAY. Somebody cut the flag down.
I believe it was done as a victory celebration.

Somebody cut the flag down.
I believe it was done as a victory celebration. It spontaneously blew down, and the BATF/FBI flag spontaneously flew into the air and replaced it.

The FBI had thier PSYOPS blaring dying rabbits sounds into the childrens' ears, etc.Try and imagine the brutal horror in a little kids eyes, when one moment everything is normal, the next heavily armed people in military uniforms, helicopters, PA systems, tanks, wounded people around you, then fire, screams, choking, then burning alive......

Never forget.
I bought the tapes, and the films clearly show the bullet fire into the bulding.
Where's the front door? It was taken as evidence, and "disappeared."

"I saw the FLIR tapes and the clockwork regularity of those flashes were not a happenstance reflection off some object on the ground."
Exactly. Danforth's "investigation" was a sham.

Yah.
In fact, his life doesn't have to go on. If he had so much as an atom of personal honor or a sense of shame, he would have written a letter of apology and blown out his brains. The same for the rest of the feral agents involved. But none of them have.
Ah, well, we can hope that burned children visit them in their dreams. And that there is such a place as hell.
