Mr Grant should give away all of his savings and residuals until he only has enough left to purchase one fish head and a rice cake a day for the rest of his life.

I've heard this schmuck with his Communist apologies on Sean Hannity's radio show.
Asner is somewhere between a slug and a cockroach.
He illustrates the Left's promotion of Communism from FDR and Harry Hopkins, to FDR's ambassador to the Soviet Union, Joseph Davies, and the New York Times' Walter Duranty who thought Stalin's show trials were legitimate, there was no famine, and the gulag was a wonderful combination of the TVA and the Hudson Bay Company.
Today CNN and Dan Rather and Charles Rangel and Barbara Boxer and Hitlery das Butch von Buchenvald sing praises to Castro killer of 100,000.
And then there's Joseph C. Wilson a mainstay of MoveOn.org linked from CPUSA.org.
Red Asner, gives Castro Lewinsky's but would not leave America to live in the Cuban Worker's Paradise.

The answer this commie scumbag should have given was Joe McCarthy, not Joe Stalin.

"I think Joe Stalin was a guy that was hugely misunderstood," I don't think there is a rational way to "understand" @ssholes like that monster.

HISTORY AND CULTURE: Death of the ButcherArnold Beichman |
On the 50th anniversary of the death of Joseph Stalin, Arnold Beichman recalls the atrocities Stalin perpetratedand the allure he held for craven Western intellectuals. |
Arnold Beichman is a research fellow at the Hoover Institution. |
Fifty years ago, on March 5, 1953, Josef Vissarionovich Stalin died. One of the worlds great genocidists, comparable to Adolf Hitler not only as a mass killer but also as an anti-Semite, Stalin was preparing a large-scale pogrom, the outgrowth of what is today known as the doctors plot. How he died, when he died, and whether he was done in by his comrades, fearful of another purge, all remain a mystery to this day. With all that was known about Lenins monstrous successor, there is another mystery that is even older than the anniversary of Stalins death: How could so many otherwise intelligent people, who were not Communist Party members so far as we know, have spoken admiringly of Stalin? |

Don't think that for a second. He truly believes this s**t.

These people don't make any sense. Ashcroft's JD arrests a few terrorists, and for this they compare him to Hitler, who is "the greatest villain of all time." Stalin out murders Hitler by better than 2:1 and he's "misunderstood."
Ed's misunderstood idol made a much overquoted quote about one death being a tragedy while a million deaths are a statistic. When it comes to the world in the eyes of bleeding heart idiots like Ed, he was right.

It's at times like these that I wish old Ed was born just a little earlier in Russia under Stalin's regime. "misunderstood" huh? To Quote Ingraham
"Shut up and sing"....or is it dance? Or just shut up.

I'm sure 20 million dead Russian's feel Ed's pain over this shocking misunderstanding of Stalin.

"I would love to ask Asner, a Jew whose real name is Yitzak Edward Asner, whether he would have been happy living under Stalin's boot." Never mind Stalin, given his age, he may rather need to worry about how happy he is living under Satan's boot.

Don't think that for a second. He truly believes this s**t.I'm not defending him, but I think he was pulling some chain. That does not make him less of an "idiot".

The only thing that makes Asner different from his Hollywood buddies is that he's senile enough to spill the beans to people who don't think like he does.
Reports had it Johnny Depp, recently abroad, was wearing a Che Guevara pendant.
Danny Glover is as Red as they come, defending Osama Bin Laden at Princeton University Laden on 9/12/2001.
Does anyone really think that people like Barbra Streisand, Michael Moore, etc., -aren't- dyed in the wool communists? Please. They just use the word "Progressive" instead, but believe me, they swoon over Castro and Stalin just as much as Ed does.
Course, I could be wrong about Asner's senility - he may simply be testing the waters leading up to many more people opening up about their open admiration for Stalin and crowd.
