No matter what people say, homosexuality is a sin before a Living God! If one chooses to believe what is written clearly in scripture, then those who practice such things are deceived. Sodom and Gomorrah are clear indications of how God feels about this hideous sin. The reason they were finally destroyed is because that sin had pervaded an entire society from the older men to the young boys. When perversion makes its way through a culture and threatens the innocence of young children, then God will come to put an end to it. The other thing, God took quick authority over that area of the world because even the angels that came to destroy these two cities had become targets of sin.
Just like the church is today. The church of Jesus is under attack by people who believe a lie--homosexuality in the church will lead to sure judgement.

It might also be considered that in the old testament there is a discussion about sin visiting itself upon the third and fourth generations. If this is true, then isn't it possible that homosexuality does have a generation aspect more than a genetic aspect? Although, it must be noted, that children of alcoholics have a lower threshold for becoming alcoholics themselves. Thus, it is possible for someone to be more quickly deceived about this perversion.

I could use a little help here. I do know that numerious parts of the bible condemn homosexuality, so far, I found Sodom and Gomorrah, and I know one part says "man shall not lie down with man". Do you know of any other parts of the bible, old and new testament, that also condemns sodomy and/or homosexuality.

I believe you are very close but I don't think you are fully correct yet. There are societies that practiced ritual murder for years (canabalism etc) and some of these still exist. The problem with Sodom and Gomorrah is that the sin they practiced (sodomy) is contagious.

The first law of homosexuality:

'homosexuals' don't reproduce, they recruit

In order to stop the spread of the mental disease God prescribed permanent quarentine. You stop a cancer by cutting it out. You stop your people from being infected by sodomites by destroying them.

(Of course this is just my personal opinion but note that the biblical penalty for sodomy is instant death, in all the scriptures about the cities of refuge a sodomite is never given the option to run there. Murderers can run for refuge but sodomites cannot. Why? because murder isn't nearly as contagious as sodomy is.)

Actually, if you were to read and not just be a follower of those who want things read and understood their way you would see that Sodom and the city of Gomorrah were not destroyed for the perversion we so believe but the fact that there was inhospitality shown and violence. "homosexuality is a sin before a Living God! I know for a fact God put us all here IRREGARDLESS OF ALLEDGED SEXUAL ORIENTATION for a purpose and that purpose is NOT TO RUN OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES BY OUR PEJUDICES AND FEARS.


Unless you can vouch with some proof other than "God told me so" don't judge others. THE MASTER RULES GOD GAVE US IS TO UNCONDITIONALLY LOVE HIM AND EACH OTHER. And by the way GOD HATES NOONE BUT DESPISES HYPOCRITS that is a proven fact.

it is a shame to see people call themselves children of God and yet cannot imagine that same God gave all the uniqueness we have.
