Thankfully, there aren't very many McCainiacs left on the forum. The man is a fraud and a sellout who built his career up on lies and who divorced his wife because she was paraplegic and not telegenic.
He used to be a conservative but ever since he jumped onto the campaign censorship bandwagon after his own scandal, he became addicted to the poisonous nectar of liberal media praise.
I believe a lot of the McCain supporters were sincere conservatives who thought he was the best candidate. Unfortuately, I think by the time most of us started discovering who the real John McCain was there had been so much passion built up in the McCain flame wars, and so many bridges burnt, that some of those folks couldn't come back.
The McClintock campaign reminded me a lot of that...and there are some long time freepers missing because of the passion expended on him.
